The VIVOOD Landscape Hotel is a a benchmark in sustainable tourism and modular architecture, located in Valle de Guadalest, Alicante.
Its design, conceived by architect Daniel Mayo Daniel Mayosought total integration with its surroundings, offering a luxury experience that is conscious and respectful of the environment.
The hotel is distributed on a plot of 100,000 m², with only 7.22% of the land built on, guaranteeing the preservation of the natural landscape. It has 35 independent villas and 25 suitesall raised on stilts to prevent erosion of the land and allow panoramic views of the valley.
The units are built with sustainable materials such as wood and viroc (wood and cement panels), and designed to maximise privacy and comfort for guests.
VIVOOD applies principles of sustainable architecture, using renewable energies such as aerothermal energy and photovoltaic solar panels.
Solar orientation and natural insulation optimise energy efficiency.
In addition, a reversible foundation is used and natural elements such as centuries-old olive trees are preserved by moving them rather than cutting them down, a practice it calls ‘acupuncture in nature’.
Its Spa is inspired by the five elements of nature, offering a very unique circuit worth discovering, as well as its two outdoor pools facing a spectacular landscape overlooking the countryside.
Its Con Temple space, located in the highest part of the complex, includes a restaurant of the same name open to the public at weekends, and amulti-purpose convention centre of 275 m², divisible into three soundproof rooms with capacity for more than 300 people, whose outdoor area offers a unique sunrise overlooking the nearby Guadalest Castle.
In keeping with its principles of ecology and sustainability, VIVOOD's gastronomic approach is in line with the Slow Food tendence and offers seasonal and local products.
The BreakSlow breakfast is a must, served individually on a tray, and is the ultimate expression of the desire to recover the ritual of quiet mornings.
Vivood is committed to authentic disconnection. In fact, through its Connection Box, it offers the possibility of storing your mobile phone during your stay or for as long as necessary, a plausible initiative that we support and encourage from Kerencias.
